The Western Digital WD80PURX is a 3.5-inch SATA surveillance hard drive designed specifically for NVR digital surveillance systems. It supports higher drive-bay configurations and systems using up to 64 high-definition cameras, helping accommodate increased video streams and workloads. Designed for higher temperatures and always-on surveillance environments, it includes IntelliSeek technology to calculate optimum seek speeds and AllFrame technology to reduce frame loss and improve streaming playback. The drive is also backwards compatible with DVR systems and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
