The Rohde & Schwarz 61849 is a managed layer 3 lite switch with 10 ports: 4 1G Ethernet ports, 4 2.5G Ethernet ports and 2 10G SFP+ ports. It supports PoE based on IEEE 802.3af/at with 130W, along with IPv4 and IPv6, 802.1X access control, SSH, SSL, SNMPv3 and TACACS+. The fanless design is complemented by a 1U form factor, 68 Gbit/s switching capacity, 51 Mpps throughput and support for jumbo frames up to 10240. It is described as ideal in combination with Wi-Fi 6 access points like the LX-6400 and LX-6402.
