The Planet GSD-1008HP is a compact desktop switch with eight 10/100/1000T ports providing 30-watt 802.3at PoE+ and a total 120-watt PoE budget, plus two 10/100/1000T uplink ports. Standard, VLAN and Extend modes support flexible deployment for wireless access points, IP surveillance cameras and IP phones. Extend mode provides 30-watt PoE output over up to 250 metres at 10Mbps duplex operation, while the 20Gbps non-blocking switch fabric and 14.88Mpps wire-speed throughput support high-performance switching. Its metal housing combines data and power over Ethernet in one desktop unit. The switch has a 3-year warranty.
