Product Description:
The Planet FSD-1008HP is an 8-port 10/100TX 802.3at PoE+ desktop switch with two additional 10/100TX uplink ports and a total 120-watt PoE budget. Its compact metal housing provides a convenient desktop format, while Standard, VLAN and Extend modes offer flexible network operation. Extend mode supports 30-watt PoE output over distances of up to 250 metres at 10Mbps duplex operation, and VLAN isolation helps separate ports and prevent broadcast storms. The fanless ventilated design operates noiselessly, while combined data and Power over Ethernet reduces cabling requirements. Includes a 3-year warranty.
Key Features:
- 120W POE BUDGET – Eight 10/100TX ports deliver 30-watt 802.3at PoE+ power with a total 120-watt budget.
- TWO UPLINK PORTS – Additional 10/100TX uplinks support network connections beyond the eight PoE interfaces.
- 250M EXTEND DISTANCE – Extend mode provides 30-watt PoE power over up to 250 metres at 10Mbps duplex operation.
- PORT-BASED VLAN – VLAN mode helps prevent IP camera multicast or broadcast storms from influencing each other.
- SILENT FANLESS DESIGN – The compact ventilated metal housing operates without a cooling fan for noiseless operation.
Usage:
Suitable for deploying wireless access points, IP-based surveillance cameras and IP phones in small businesses and workgroups.
